Introduction
Hi!
I spent my childhood in the Brendon Hills in Exmoor, where I loved to watch the birds, from those in the rookery in the woods behind the house and the cheeky robin in the garden to the birds that sang in the heather and gorse up on the moors.
Since then I have mostly lived in cities in order to earn my living, but have enjoyed my garden birds and my trips further afield with RSPB groups and others.
I am very fortunate to be able to live next to a lake close to the centre of Milton Keynes, and to have easy access to other lakes, rivers and woods via cycle paths. Sadly, even in the few years that I have lived here further building beside the lake has meant that I no longer see linnets and skylarks as I did when I first moved here, nor do birds such as wigeon overwinter here, though they still pass through.
These pages contain mostly relatively recent pictures taken with my digital camera. One day I hope to scan in my numerous older photos.
