Pollution
Hi!
Pollution takes many forms, some obvious, some not. Some pollution is visible in the air, and some is invisible. The same goes for pollution in the water and in the ground. Some pollution is inert - it just sits there, doing nothing. Other pollution changes over time, becoming either more or less dangerous.
In this section I'll be concentrating on the kinds of pollution that get into the air that we breathe, the water we drink or the food we eat. In the case of food, the pollution may start out so thinly spread that it cannot do us any harm. But there it may taken up by many small creatures, which are themselves eaten by larger creatures, and so on, until it arrives in much more highly concentrated form at the top of the food chain - us.
