Recycling, Waste
Man has been dumping his waste for millenia, and archaeologists have learnt a lot from it. In the past however it was mostly biodegradable waste, and the volume was a lot less than it is today. In modern societty we create a huge amopunt of waste, however, much of which is not biodegradable and which may also be polluting. We are drowning in our own waste.
We need to reduce the amount of waste we create (e.g. by using less packaging), recycle as much as we can, and design as many things as we can to be safely biodegradable and/or recyclable.
